Athosis is an idea, the idea of a process that meets needs. Why? To reduce poverty and increase joy in the world. We believe that meeting needs is foundational to the reduction of poverty and the increase of joy, but we can only do so much. In a world swimming in deep need, the prospect of meeting all needs seems hopeless. Just like many worthy ideas, Athosis could be destroyed by hopelessness before it ever starts. 

We believe, however, in the long road. The eternal journey of continuous improvement may seem impossible, but it is always one small improvement away. We are committed to taking small steps and collecting people willing to journey together who want to work to make the world a better place for all. 

Athosis is a dream, but dreams can come true with effort and determination. Dreams that we make real become reality. The core dream of Athosis is that we meet need. Sharing the vision of meeting need is in part what we do with Athosis Press. This publishing arm of Athosis provides books that aim to grow worldviews and open new possibilities.
